Office of the District Food Controller.

Activities related to procurement of food grains

Purchase of rice

Only legally licensed rice mill owners contract with the government to sell government-specified quality rice to government food warehouses.

From 02 May / 13 to 30 October / 13.

Provide security of required number of sacks at the rate of 2% of the allotted total rice and Rs. 60 / - each.

As per Internal Procurement Policy / 10

 

 

 

Purchase of paddy

Actual farmers sell government specified quality paddy in government food warehouses on a ‘first come first served’ basis.

Until the time of internal procurement fixed by the government.

The price of paddy fixed by the government is 18/50 rupees per kg.
